With 23 days to go until 'I'm leaving on a jet plane...' I don't feel at all ready!
Even though I'm excited and have my visa, passport and documents all safe and sound - I still need to get my medical insurance, pay the Disney fee and get packed! I've noticed a few other people are the same but I can't help feeling totally unprepared. But I'm also excited at the same time! Does that make sense? ... I'll be surprised if the answer is yes! There is also a lot university work that I need finish and an exam to prepare for so maybe that's part of it.
On another note... I decided to try my hand at video making! I've made a little video with a couple of highlights from my holiday last year, it's the first time I've done something like this so it's probably not that great and I would definitely appreciate feedback :D

US Embassy
My visa appointment was Friday 8th April at 11am, so my family and I went to London on the Thursday night and spent the night in a hotel near Wembley. On the Friday morning we got the tube to the embassy.
Once I had gotten into the embassy it was okay, I was called up to the first window within 15 minutes. Once I sat back down I tried reading but I couldn't concentrate because I was scared of missing my number so I started talking to some people who sat were near me which really helped pass the time.
After about 3 hours my number was called, and the interview was less than 5 minutes! But I was out by 3:30 so I spent the rest of the day in London with my family :)
It was still very hot and sunny so I was a happy girl :D

Welcome!
So this is my first blog, I probably should have started this a while back but better late than never! I really hope that you join me on this adventure that is truly a dream come true and sure to be the summer of a lifetime
Well first of all, I'm Gemma. I'm 19 years old from Manchester currently studying joint Drama and English at Edge Hill University. I love all things Disney and have been called a Disney-Geek in the past by friends which I never take as an insult :) I have been lucky enough to get a place on the Disney ICP 'woo-hoo!'. I'm sure a lot of you know what the ICP is, but for those of you that don't, take a look at this: https://www.disneyinternationalprograms.com/icp.html
